5. Quick Start Workflow

Follow a compact first-run workflow that introduces the main EPM Vitals workspaces end to end.

First-run sequence

Use this workflow when you want to understand the product end to end.

  1. Activate the license in Tools > License Activation.
  2. Initialize an Application Profile in Application > Application Profile.
  3. Parse a snapshot in Application > Snapshot Reader.
  4. Generate a draft config in Data > Configure Wizard.
  5. Validate source and target files in Data > Validation.
  6. Convert data in Data > Convertor.
  7. Check delivery readiness in Data > Data Readiness Check.
  8. Compare metadata in Metadata > Metadata vs Metadata.
  9. Review mappings in Metadata > Mapping Review.
  10. Explore business logic or impact in Application > Business Logic Explorer and Application > Impact Chain.
  11. Review outputs in Tools > Run History.
