Use these definitions when reading EPM Vitals modules, generated workbooks, and support notes.
Core product terms
| Term | Meaning |

| Application Profile | A reusable local profile created from an application snapshot or export. |
| Oracle EPM Pull | A profile-only connector workflow that uses Oracle EPM REST APIs to export selected migration artifacts while excluding Essbase Data. |
| Snapshot | A package exported from an EPM application for inspection or migration review. |
| Metadata | Structural application objects such as dimensions, members, properties, hierarchies, aliases, and related definitions. |
| Data Grid | Excel-style multidimensional data layout used by planning, reporting, or migration processes. |
| Config Workbook | A workbook that tells EPM Vitals how to map, validate, or convert files. |
| Dimension Mapping | Mapping between source and target dimensions. |
| Member Mapping | Mapping between source and target members. |
| Parent Ignore | A setting used to ignore or control parent-level mapping behavior when generating or applying configs. |
| Config Review | Validation of the configuration workbook before running a module. |
| Run Folder | The local folder for a specific execution and its outputs. |
| Template Library | Local storage for reusable, reviewed configuration templates. |
| Impact Chain | Analysis of upstream and downstream references around an object. |
| Business Logic Evidence | Rows, rules, references, or parsed logic that support a business logic explanation. |
